Two Rivers Magnet High School (Grades 9-12) - Now accepting students in grade 9.
Two Rivers Magnet High School is an expansion of the award-winning Two Rivers Magnet Middle School. Two Rivers High School features an integrated learning environment that combines traditional academics with a focus on environmental science and environmental engineering. Utilizing research-based teaching and learning, students make interdisciplinary
connections, engage in project-based learning, and work with professionals in related environmental science and engineering fields as they develop and refine new skills.
The school explicitly teaches the 5E Model of Inquiry to help students use and build upon prior knowledge and experience, construct meaning, continually assess their understanding of a concept, examine problems and make informed decisions concerning society’s relationship with the environment. This opportunity provides students with a continuum of learning as they prepare to progress into higher education and/or a career in science, technology, engineering, or mathematics.
