Special Education and Pupil Services
Our Commitment
The Capitol Region Education Council (CREC) is committed to providing high-quality, equitable, and inclusive special education and pupil services across all CREC Magnet Schools. Our mission is to ensure that every student — including students requiring specialized supports — has the opportunity to grow, thrive, and succeed in an inclusive learning environment.
Through collaborative partnerships with families, educators, service providers, and sending districts, CREC ensures that supports are individualized, research-based, and aligned with state and federal requirements. Students receive services in the least restrictive environment whenever possible, fostering dignity, independence, and access to rigorous academic and social learning opportunities.
