Students interested in attending CREC Schools apply through the Regional School Choice Office. RSCO serves Hartford and suburban students who are interested in public school choice options in the Greater Hartford Region. Its staff provides parents and students with the information needed to explore their options and guide their decisions.

Using a common RSCO application, families may apply to magnet schools, and/or the Hartford Region Open Choice Program, and/or the CT Technical High Schools (grade 9 applicants only). Please note, CREC manages only 16 magnet schools and the Hartford Region Open Choice Program.
